A Passage to India: One of the Most Valuable Movie

‘A Passage to India’ is the name of valuable movie. The movie is set in the 1920s during the period of growing influence of the Indian independence movement over administration of England. The main characters in the story are Dr.Aziz, Mrs.Moore, Miss Quested, Mr.Fielding, and Ronny. The characters of the actors represent the differences of the Englishmen and the Indians in that time. Many Englishmen looked down at the Indians. According to, the differences of cultures, lifestyles, wealth, and so on make people far away to each other. Hence, A Passage to India can reflect people lives in that time well.
The story begins with, Mrs. Moore and Miss Quested; two ladies from England come to India. Mrs. Moore comes to visit her son, the magistrate in the city of India, Chadrapore. Miss Quested comes to engage with Ronny, Mrs.Moore’son.  One day, Mrs. Moore meet Dr.Aziz accidentally.  Mrs. Moore is very nice to Indian like Dr. Aziz. Dr. Aziz is very glad to meet Englishman that can be friend to the Indian, so he invites her to visit Marabar Cave. Dr.Aziz invites Mrs.Moore, Miss Quested, MR. Fielding, and Professor Godbole to visit the cave. Unfortunately, Mr. Fielding and Professor Godbole miss the train. Dr. Aziz guides them to the cave but Mrs. Moore is so old and tired, then she waits for Dr. Aziz and Miss Quested below.  In the front of the cave, Miss Quested asks Dr. Aziz about his love to his ex-wife. The question is so offensive, so he goes to the other place of the cave. Miss Quested comes in to the cave. It was very dark, the she light the matchstick. Suddenly, Miss Quested runs away from the cave and goes to the car on the road below. It is very frighten Dr. Aziz. When Dr. Aziz reaches Chadrapore, police arrests him on the rape of Miss Quested. His friends know that he is innocent, so they try to help him from the accuse.  According to the injustice of the court, there are riots in the town, people call for set Dr.Aziz be free. The only one eye-witness in this case is Mrs. Moore and she comes back to England. Fortunately, Miss Quested declares that she lied because she does not want to marry with Ronny, the rude man. Afterwards, they set Dr. Aziz be free and people yell loudly. Mr. Fielding and his friends are very glad. Next, Dr. Aziz thinks Mr. Fielding; his Englishman friend gets married with Miss Quested, his enemy. So he is angry with Mr. Fielding and leave Chadrapore.  Next, Mr. Fielding finds him and tells him the truth that he gets married with Mrs. Moore’s daughter. Therefore, the relationship between two friends who are different race, religious, and cultures become to be the same.

To sum up, human value is not about the race, religious, money, culture. It is about how good they are. As you can see from A Passage to India that reflects people lives in society. The poor is always insulted by the rich. However, the thought in their mind is the most important thing. Likewise, Dr. Aziz wants to be friends with the man who comes from the land which is far away. Unfortunately, with his race, people think they are bad, and easily believe the accuse.  Every society has both good and bad man, dark and light, so do not justice people because their races, or how the dress.
